Free in-house lighting with every shoot

Leslieville 245 Carlaw Ave · Toronto

Toronto’s daylight studio, born in 1916.

A dynamic, open-concept production studio for photographers, filmmakers and brands — 16 ft ceilings, fluted columns and 14 ft west-facing factory windows.

The space

An elevated loft, flooded with light.

Located just north of Queen Street East in Toronto’s iconic Wrigley factory, the studio was designed to give local creatives an elevated professional photography and videography space — and a high-end setting for client meetings, team building and small events.

Over 1,000 square feet of bright, open space keeps the building’s original details: soaring 16 ft ceilings, fluted columns and concrete floors, tastefully updated with white brick walls, exposed pipes and a sleek, modern fireplace.

The history

A gum factory with a second act.

In 1916, the Wrigley Company built its first gum factory outside the U.S. right here in Leslieville, with architecture inspired by its original Chicago factory.

Production continued through both World Wars before the building was leased in the late ’60s and converted into premium lofts in the late ’90s. Today, its light-filled floors host Toronto’s creatives.
