Our story · Est. 1916
A heritage factory, reimagined for creatives.
Located just north of Queen Street East in Toronto’s iconic Wrigley factory, the studio gives local creatives an elevated place to make their best work.
The history
Over a century of making things.
1916
The first factory outside the U.S.
The Wrigley Company builds its first gum factory outside the United States in Toronto’s Leslieville, with architecture inspired by its original Chicago factory.
1914–1945
Through two World Wars
Production continues throughout the First and Second World Wars.
Late ’60s
A new chapter
The building is leased out, ending its run as a gum factory.
Late ’90s
Premium lofts
The factory is converted into premium lofts, keeping its soaring ceilings, columns and huge windows.
Today
A home for creatives
An open-concept production studio for photography, video, events and meetings at 245 Carlaw Ave.

The design
Boutique, contemporary, timeless.
The studio boasts a sophisticated, boutique aesthetic with a focus on high-end contemporary design.
Each piece of furniture works seamlessly together within a natural colour palette to provide unlimited opportunities for unique vignettes. Original details — 16 ft ceilings, fluted columns and concrete floors — meet white brick walls, exposed pipes and a sleek, modern fireplace.
“The space is a photographers dream with the loft style windows that let in gorgeous natural light.”Laura · CEO, Just Bought It Hair Inc.
